Oakhill College had the distinct honour of hosting the national launch of Pink Stumps Day, joining forces with Tracy Bevan, the McGrath Foundation, Pink Stumps Day Ambassadors Matt Shirvington and Erin Holland, Sunrise, Michelle Fisher, and The Daily Telegraph. This recognition underlines Oakhill's unwavering commitment to the McGrath Foundation's cause through years of dedicated fundraising and awareness efforts.
Now in its remarkable 15th year, Pink Stumps Day proudly holds the title of the McGrath Foundation's largest grassroots fundraising campaign. Last year, it achieved an extraordinary feat by raising over $850,000, thanks to the active involvement of more than 350 schools, cricket clubs, businesses, and community groups. This year, we aim even higher, with a collective goal of $950,000, in unwavering support of the McGrath Foundation's critical mission: ensuring that no one faces breast cancer without the care and support of a dedicated breast care nurse.
Campaign Ambassadors Matt Shirvington and Erin Holland have embarked on a passionate nationwide rally, encouraging everyone to don pink and host their very own Pink Stumps Day event. Together, we are determined to make a significant impact in the battle against breast cancer.
Oakhill College stands proudly as a part of this noble cause, committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Join us in the fight against breast cancer, and together, we can create a brighter and healthier future.
