This week Mission@Oakhill wrapped up it’s Christmas cheer and shared the love throughout many deserving communities across Sydney.
A cheque for $716 and two shopping bags of presents were sent to Ronald McDonald House in Randwick for sick children receiving treatment in the Sydney Children Hospital this Christmas. This generosity was achieved through the recent Christmas@Oakhill concert.
Year 12 students from Turon House delivered boxes overloaded with Christmas food and goodies to the Lasallian San Miguel Family Crisis Centre at Richmond.
Food hampers were given to St Bernadette’s Parish for their annual St Vincent De Paul appeal.
On a very smoky and incredibly hot day “Oakhill Elves” Mr Carroll, Youth Ministers Matt and Franco along with three champion senior students Jamie, Sam and Ethan went door to door passing out much needed supplies to get people through the holidays.
All of these wonderful events could only happen due to the support of Oakhill students, staff and families.
Thank you and God Bless
