Oakhill College recognises the importance of robust mental health, particularly during adolescent development. The College offers ongoing pro-active programs to our students throughout the year, such as R U OK Day? and Day of Difference.
The Oakhill College Counselling Department is located in the De La Salle Building and comprises two registered psychologists and a social worker. The College Counsellors have extensive experience with adolescents and are able to help students in a confidential, safe environment. The Counsellors develop strong working relationships with external agencies and with practitioners in private practice and support students at school in consultation with external treating clinicians where applicable. Consultation with families forms an important part of our practice.
Counsellors are available to help with:
- Mental Health
- Family Conflict
- Wellbeing
- Working with referrals from external treating clinicians
